The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25 is a prestigious initiative by the SBI Foundation under its education-focused vertical, the Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This scholarship program is specially designed to support deserving Indian students from underprivileged backgrounds in pursuing higher education abroad.
About the Scholarship
As one of India’s largest scholarship programs, the SBIF Asha Scholarship aims to empower SC and ST students by providing substantial financial aid. The program is focused on ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent meritorious students from achieving their dreams of studying at premier global universities
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to Indian students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
- Applicants must be pursuing a master’s or postgraduate course (any year) at a recognized international university or college.
- Must have secured at least 75% marks or equivalent in the previous academic year.
- The gross annual family income should not exceed INR 6,00,000.
Scholarship Benefits
Eligible students can receive:
Up to INR 20,00,000 or
50% of course-related expenses (whichever is less)
This financial assistance can be used to cover tuition fees, accommodation, travel, and other education-related costs
